Lesley Ann Brandt and Maria Bartiromo

Lesley Ann Brandt (born December 2nd 1982) is a South African actress, model and television personality. Brandt made her American debut in Spartacus: Blood and Sand, a historical drama. She began her acting career as a New Zealander in the show Diplomatic Immunity. The actress has appeared in various TV shows over the last decade. These include Spartacus: Gods of the Arena CSI: NY Single Ladies The Librarians. From 2016 Brandt has played the character in the role of Mazikeen in the series of urban fantasy Lucifer which stars Tom Ellis Lauren German and Kevin Alejandro. Brandt was born within Cape Town South Africa. Later, in her late teens she immigrated together with family members to Auckland New Zealand. Brandt's professional career began as a fashion model, appearing in commercials on television and magazine advertisements. Prior to becoming an infamous model, she worked as a salesperson for retail and as a consultant in recruitment in the field of information technology. In the New Zealand sitcom Diplomatic Immunity in which she played Leilani F'auigaese, in 2009 her first major role was secured. Her first big appearance was in 2021 as she played the part of a slave girl Naevia on the Starz show Spartacus: Blood and Sand. She has as well reprised her role as Naevia in the mini-series that prequels Spartacus: Gods of the Arena. Co-starring with actor Craig Parker in three different TV shows: Diplomatic Immunity (2009) Spartacus (2010) and Legend of the Seeker (2008). In the year 2016 Mazikeen was cast as a bounty-hunting demon in Netflix's hit show Lucifer. This is her biggest role up to now. The show co-stars together with Tom Ellis Lauren French Kevin Alejandro D. B. Woodside.

Over the course of her twenty-year career in the field of journalism, Maria Bartiromo had a significant role in setting up the TV channel CNBC to become one of the most prominent in economic and business coverage. Maria's well-respected journalism career leads one to think that she was destined for this field. Maria was a bit unsure when choosing which career path to follow as a woman. The next she wanted to become an interior designer. Journalism was too much for her to leave out. She is a great journalist, but she's also a role model for women who want to make it within male-dominated industries. The award was given to her as one of the 50 Faces That Shaped the Decade she was also the first ever female journalist to be inducted into the Cable Hall of Fame. Along with being a writer and columnist Sheila is among the 50 Faces That Shaped the Decade.
