Maureen Denise McCormick is the younger daughter of Richard McCormick. Her birth date was August 5, 1956, on the outskirts of Woodland Hills California. Her father was an elementary school teacher, and her mom was a stay at home mom. Michael Dennis Kevin, her two brothers older. McCormick was a gifted artist and singer from an early age. She would perform shows using puppets to entertain her friends. At the age of six, McCormick old, she won an award in the Baby Miss San Fernando Valley pageant. McCormick was chosen to play in her debut major performance in 1964 on a tv commercial for Mattels new doll, Baby Pattaburp. The following year, she starred for another company's Chatty Cathy Doll and was soon chosen to play the La Jolla Playhouse play Wind ItUp And ItBreaks. The Brady Bunch McCormick auditioned for the part of the oldest daughter in the trio of towheaded girls in The Brady Bunch. The show starred Florence Henderson, Robert Reed and a new blended family. The show ran for five years. McCormick wrote in her book Heres the Story Surviving Marcia Brady and Finding My True Voice Published In 2008 McCormick disclosed that during the fifth season of the show, she nearly lost her virginity with her brother Barry Williams. He was 19 years old. She was 16. She said that it would have been possible, but we didn't have the proper time to do it.
