A Hollywood, California native, Josie Davis is an actress producer, writer and actress. Davis started her acting career when she was just three years old. She appeared in various television commercials. As a small kid, Davis was spotted on the show Charles In Charge. It was the top-rated show in the syndication market. Josie was nominated 3 times and was awarded the prestigious Young In Film Award for playing Sarah Powell. Davis was a leading actress in numerous television movies as an adult. She was the recipient of Lifetime Movie Network Awards for her role. While she was offered the possibility of enrolling in USC's highly regarded creative writing course, Davis took the decision to stay in acting. She studied intensely under Paul E Richards. Paul E Richards for twenty years. When she was twenty four, Davis auditioned for Hollywood famous actors, Shelley Winters, Mark Rydell and Martin Landau. Following only one audition Davis was accepted into the renowned Actors Studio as a member with working privileges, then was elevated to a Lifetime Membership just after her second callback. There were more than one thousand actors who were invited to audition, which made Davis just one of only two actors to be accepted at the time.
